Are Lomov and Natalia really interested in laying claim to ox- meadows?
AnsLomov I don't the meadows, Natalia steponoyna but it's the Principle
of the thig if you want I'll give them to you.

this is rather odd to put it mildly, I can vassilievich up til now we've always
considered you a good neighbour and friend. Last year we let you borrow our
threshing machine, and as a result we couldn't finish our own gain until November,
and no you're treating us like Gypsies. You're giving me my own land. Excuse
me, but that's not a neighbourly thing to do! to my mind, it's impertient, if care to.
