To save it from the sin of forgiving

Explanation: The poet KeKi N. Daruwala this stanza of the poems 'Fire

Hymn' is the poet of love, death, domination, plight of human society and

violence.

The poet has lost his first born child. He consigned the body of his first

born to the flames for cremation. He is 'Parsi' by religion, but he violated the

tradition of his religion by cremating his child. This great loss had broken him

and he regarded himself rebellious for going against his religious tradition. He

took oath after thinking himself of this fault to save it from the sin of forgiving.
